Attached are notes on your conversation

him. Woods approached him in April. McNamara came to see me
in August to tell me about his conversations with the World Bank, so
I wouldn 1t think he was out looking for a job. We talked again in
October and it went
- ; Johnsons and guests go to Commander John Paul Jones' house to see baby owl; bowling; early dinner; two-hour conversation; confrontation between LBJ and Dean Acheson; Speaker Rayburn's comments about Dean Acheson; donation by Phyllis Dillon
- LBJ & Lady Bird awaken at 3:30 a.m. and have long conversation about decision not to run again in 1968; back to sleep; Lady Bird meets with Tiffany & Co. officials about new White House china; luncheon for Sir Robert & Lady Menzies and Ambassador
